Map network drive to Google Drive

Mapping network drives to popular cloud storage drives is the latest trend. Initially, syncing files used to be the default way of storing and sharing files but now, mapping network drives has caught on with time.

At first, the process of mapping might look tricky but if you have the right tools, you will surely become familiar with it in less than no time. Mapping a network drive to Google Drive is particularly helpful when it comes to saving space on your hard drive.

Before you start the actual process and finally complete it, it is wise to clean up duplicate files from your Google Drive. To dedupe the Google cloud drive, use Cloud Duplicate Finder solution and save storage quota.

Therefore, let us take a look into how, unlike your favourite provider, you can map your network drive with Google Drive.

Mapping Programs To Map Network Drive

pCloud Drive

PCloud drive is one of the safest ways to map and create virtual or network drives. It uses a security feature on its server that utilizes the ‘Zero Knowledge’ principle. This means that it will neither store your personal information nor allow anyone else to access it. Furthermore, it offers 10GB free cloud storage space and if that is not enough, you can get 2TB of space by paying $8 only.

To use pCloud drive, first sign-up for the service, then set-up the pCloud virtual drive by installing the pCloud client. Once pCloud drive has been set-up, the new virtual drive will appear on your computer. This can also be used to connect and upload content on your Google Drive.
