Disable Resource-intensive Plugins
Plugins are browser components. Resource-intensive plugins make your browser heavyweight and slower. It is highly recommended to disable unwanted plug-ins through the steps given below:
Google Chrome
1. In the Address Bar of your browser, type chrome://plugins
2. Press ENTER.
3. A new page consisting of enabled and disabled add-ons is now opened up on your screen.
4. Click the Disable link ahead of an enabled plug-in. One by one disable all unwanted plug-ins.
5. Click the Wrench icon on upper right corner.
6. Select More Tools, and then Extensions.
7. Uncheck the Enabled checkbox in front of each extension.
Opera
1. Type opera:plugins in the Address Bar.
2. Click the Disable button ahead of a plug-in.
Internet Explorer
1. Press the Alt key to show the menu bar.
2. Click the Tools menu, select Manage Add-Ons.
3. Select an add-on you’d like to disable.
4. Click the Disable button.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Press Alt.
2. Click the Tools menu.
3. Select Add-ons.
4. Click the Extensions tab.
5. Click Disable ahead of an extension.

7. Select the Never activate option from the drop down box of a plugin.
Identify Bandwidth Hoggy Apps

1. Right click on your Taskbar, select the Task Manager.
2. Click More details.
3. Click the Processes tab.
4. Click the Network column head.
5. Task Manager will sort all processes on network consumption basis.

Clear Browsing History

2. Select History | History.

5. Check-up all boxes; click Clear browsing data.

4. Check-up all boxes; click the Clear Now.
