Repair Registry

Registry is the database that contains your important game profile settings. Some incorrect changes in the registry can break your system. Repair it using the procedure given below:

  1. Press Windows Key + X. Select Run.
  2. Type RegEdit and hit ENTER.
  3. Locate the following sub-key:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
  4. Right-click the GraphicsDrivers sub-key, select New | DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  5. Specify the name TdrLevel and value as 0.
  6. Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer.

Turn Off Unsupported Features

Some of the users reported that disabling shadowing, motion blur features and lowering the video resolution fixed the issue.

  1. Open the Fortnite game.
  2. Open the Game Settings.
  3. Click on the Hamburger.
  4. Choose the Cog Symbol.

  5. Click on Compatibility tab.
  6. Check-up the box named Disable Fullscreen optimizations.
  7. Click Apply, OK.
  8. Repeat the same procedure for another file named FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_BE.exe.
