Upgrade your Hardware

Make sure you have at least 4 GB of Random Access Memory, and a Quad Core or Dual Core processor. These are the minimum requirements in order to run this software.

Optimize Settings

Change the BlueStacks memory settings from your system registry as shown below:

1. Type RegEdit in the Search Box on your Taskbar.
2. Open the Registry Editor (RegEdit) from the Search Results.
3. Locate the following Registry sub-key:
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | BlueStacks | Guests | Android
4. Double-click on the Memory string on the right; and then set it to display value in Decimal, instead of default Hexadecimal.
5. Delete the old value; replace it with 1024.
6. Click OK.
7. Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer/ laptop for the new changes to take effects.

Delete BlueStacks Temporary Files

BlueStacks creates self-disposable files to store temporary data. Usually, these files are deleted after you close the program. However, some program malfunction may cause traces to accumulate over times, and affect your system performance. Deleting these files is safe.

1. Exit BlueStacks.
2. Click the File Explorer icon on your Taskbar.
3. Open up the following location:
   • C:\Windows\Temp
4. Delete all files from the Temp folder.
5. Press Windows Key + X, select Run.
6. Type AppData, and hit ENTER.
7. Go to the following directory:
   • ..\Local\Temp
8. Delete all files from the Temp folder.

Perform Disk-CleanUp

Your computer may be overloaded with tons of unnecessary files. Delete all temporary system files, setup extracted contents, and other miscellaneous files.

1. Double-click This PC icon on Desktop.
2. Right-click the system drive, usually drive C:\

4. Click the Disk CleanUp button in General tab.
